The Brookside Park District was formed in the early 2000’s.  The District was the Ninth Park District when formed.  The Park District oversees many aspects of the Village of Brookside.  Children activities are the primary responsibility.  The Park District has had many activities throughout the last 20 years.  Brookside Community Days was established in 2013, East Bunny w/Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween w/Parade and Trunk or Treat, and Santa Run has all brought activity to the Village of Brookside.  The District also operates a park in the area of Patterson Road and National Road.  The Park District is always looking for new ideas and programs to make the Village of Brookside the best it can be.
